The announcement by publisher Mohawk Media of the Mr. T: Limited Advance Edition Graphic Novel has started to garner major press interest, from leading broadsheet newspaper The Guardian (also in the print edition) to entertainment news site Digital Spy.

The news isn’t confined to the UK, of course: Post Chronicle in the USA were quick to report on the story, while it has also been picked up by the Australian edition of Defamer, and even such newspapers as Famagusta Gazette (Cyprus), Jamaica Gleaner (Jamaica), and The Voice (UK).

On the Net, sites seem to be literally buzzing with the announcement of this graphic novel. Besides colossal pop culture and comic book sites Comic Book Resources, Newsarama, ComicMix and Publishers Weekly’s The Beat, celebrity and gossip sites such as Starpulse, Celebratty, and Celebrity Blend Gossip appear equally interested.

For the guys, Lads Stash Mens Magazine is carrying the article, and not to be outdone, the girls have too, over on Female First. Teenager orientated site, Teen First, followed suit.

Expect more press coverage over the coming weeks, all of which seems to be real testament of the everlasting appeal of the entertainment icon that is Mr. T.
